REALIZE OUR NEED

Acts  2:37 Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do? 

 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 

Matthew  23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 

 23:24       [Ye] blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 

 23:25       Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 

 23:26       [Thou] blind Pharisee, cleanse first that [which is] within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 

THINGS TO CUT OUT

(THESE RADICAL REFORMS MAY SEEM EXTREME AT FIRST, BUT THESE PRINCIPLES ARE VERY PRACTICAL AND LOGICAL WHEN PUT TO THE TEST OF MORALITY, HEALTH AND GOOD COMMON SENSE)

Proverbs  23:1   When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what [is] before thee: 

 23:2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou [be] a man given to appetite. 

Genesis  1:29    And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

(Animal products no longer safe as food)

Romans 8:21     Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

1 Corinthians  6:19    What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

FOOD – FLESH MEAT, DAIRY FOODS,

HIGHLY PROCESSED SUGARY FOODS SUCH AS CAKES, LOLLIES, CHOCOLATES, SOFT DRINKS AND EVEN SOME FRUIT JUICES; FRIED FOODS; ALCOHOLIC AND CAFFEINATED DRINKS SUCH AS BEER, WINE, TEA, COFFEE, CHOCOLATE AND ENERGY DRINKS

EATING TOO OFTEN OR TOO MUCH

Ecclesiastes  10:17    Blessed [art] thou, O land, when thy king [is] the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness! 

CLOTHING – MEN- SHORTS, OPEN NECK SHIRTS AND TANK TOPS, TIGHT TROUSERS,  WOMEN- HIGH HEEL SHOES, MINI-SKIRTS, VERY SHORT DRESSES (ABOVE THE KNEE), SLACKS, TROUSERS AND SHORTS, (APPEARANCE OF MEN’S CLOTHING)  TIGHT OR VERY ‘REVEALING’ CLOTHING, OR SPLITS, WHICH SUGGEST SEXUALLY  RELATED PROMOTION OF BODY IMAGE.

Genesis  3:7      And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 

Genesis  3:21    Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. 

1 Timothy  2:9  In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 

 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 

WORK – WHERE COMPROMISING PRINCIPLE IS INVOLVED IN ORDER TO PERFORM WORK ACTIVITIES, EG. PROMOTING TRADITONAL DRUG USE IN THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY (INSTEAD OF NATURAL LIFESTYLE PRACTICES) TAKING CLIENTS TO VIOLENT OR PROMISCUOUS ‘ENTERTAINMENT’ ‘MOVIES’ OR OTHER ‘QUESTIONABLE’ ACTIVITIES, FARMING AND FISHING ‘UNCLEAN’ MEAT! AND USING ENVIRONMENTALLY DESTRUCTIVE PRACTICES IN THE PROCESS!

Exodus  23:2     Thou shalt not follow a multitude to [do] evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest [judgment]: 

1` Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES – WHERE ‘COMPETITION’ IS ONE OF THE MAIN PRIORITIES AND ‘PRIDE’ IS ENCOURAGED,  WASTING PRECIOUS PROBATIONERY TIME AND MONEY ON TRIVIAL OR EXPENSIVE HOBBIES WHERE MISSIONARY OUTREACH IS VERY LOW OR NON -EXISTENT IN PRIORITY.

2 Corinthians 10:12   For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 

Romans  13:11  And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed. 

 13:12       The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 

REPLACE AND FILL YOUR LIFE WITH ACTIVE REFORMS

THINGS TO DO

Isaiah  55:2       Wherefore do ye spend money for [that which is] not bread? and your labour for [that which] satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye [that which is] good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. 

FOOD – EAT WHOLESOME, HEALTHY TASTY AND BALANCED VEGETARIAN DIET CONSISTING OF MAINLY VEGETABLES AND FRUIT, WITH SOME WHOLEGRAIN FOODS SUCH AS BREADS AND CEREALS AND NUTS (IN SMALL QUANTITIES) SOFT CLEAN WATER AND SOME PURE FRUIT JUICES ALONG WITH SOY, RICE OR NUT MILKS, AND HERBAL TEAS.

EAT MODERATELY ONLY  TWICE (OR AT MOST, THREE TIMES) A DAY (BEST FOR DETOXING AND DIGESTION)   (IF SICK, ‘FAST’ – DRINK WATER OR JUICES INSTEAD FOR A DAY OR TWO, WISELY, UNDER SENSIBLE MEDICAL SUPERVISION)

CLOTHING – MEN – WEAR GOOD QUALITY, TASTEFUL, MODEST CLOTHES, LOOSE BUT WELL FITTING TROUSERS, SHIRTS, COATS, SHOES, BOOTS ETC. AND HATS (TO PROTECT FROM SUN, AND COLD) WOMEN – WEAR GOOD QUALITY, TASTEFUL, MODEST CLOTHES, LOOSE BUT WELL FITTING, ELEGANT LONGISH SKIRTS AND DRESSES, BLOUSES, TOPS, WARM IN WINTER, COOL IN SUMMER, AND COMFORTABLE, FAIRLY FLAT HEELED SHOES, CLEAN AND NEAT AND TASTEFULLY CO-ORDINATED STYLE AND COLOUR.

1 Timothy  2:8  I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. 

 2:9  In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 

 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 

Matthew 3:4      And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 

Matthew  11:7   And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 

 11:8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft [clothing] are in kings’ houses. 

WORK – ACCORDING TO INTEREST AND TALENT, PROMOTING GODLY PRINCIPLES AND STANDING BY THEM AS OPPORTUNITY TO WITNESS. OBEYING THE LAWS OF THE LAND AS GOOD CITIZENS! GAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO DO VOLUNTARY WORK TO FORM WHOLESOME FRIENDSHIPS IN ORDER TO WITNESS!

Mark  13:34      [For the Son of man is] as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 

Deuteronomy 6:5       And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 

Ecclesiastes  9:10      Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do [it] with thy might; for [there is] no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. 

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES –  FINDING TIME TO EXPLORE AND ENJOY GOD’S GREAT OUTDOORS, NON-COMPETITIVE RELAXATION ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BUSH-WALKING, CANOEING, KAYAKING, SNOW SKIING, SWIMMING, FITNESS REGIMES, BIKE RIDING, LEARNING A LANGUAGE, PLAYING A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, SINGING, POETRY,  BUT MOST OF ALL—–

Mark  6:31        And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. 

James  5:13       Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 

 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 

 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 

PRIVATE AND PUBLIC EVANGELISM, PREACHING, BIBLE STUDIES, SHARING THE ‘HEALTH MESSAGE’, SINGING PSALMS AND ‘SPIRITUAL’ SONGS SUCH AS HYMNS, READING GOD’S WORD TO THOSE WHO ARE WILLING TO LISTEN –

Matthew  4:23   And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. 

5:1   And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 

 5:2  And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 

Acts 8:30  And Philip ran thither to [him], and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 

 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. 

MOST OF ALL – – SHOWING THE ‘HIGHEST JOY POSSIBLE KNOWN TO MAN THROUGH  ‘TRUE RELIGION’  AND THE FUTURE PROSPECT OF ‘ETERNAL LIFE’ AND THE SECOND COMING OF OUR CREATOR AND SAVIOUR,  ‘JESUS CHRIST’ – (VERY SOON ACCORDING TO PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT OF WORLD SIGNS)

Luke 2:20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. 

Acts  4:18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. 

 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. 

 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. 

Revelation  22:20      He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 

REMEMBER GOD’S REST DAY = TIME TO INITIATE AND REVIVE THE REFORM PROCESS FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK!

Deuteronomy  5:12    Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee. 

 5:13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: 

 5:14 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. 

 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that] the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day. 

Isaiah  66:22     For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 

 66:23       And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
